The New Orleans Police Department is investigating after a man was shot in Algiers.
Police say it happened in the 1100 block of Hendee Street just after 1 a.m. Friday.
Police say the 19-year-old suffered at least one gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital by New Orleans EMS.
There is no other information at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
