LSU moves to 15-7 overall, while Grambling moves to 5-14 overall.
The Tigers will be back at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field for the SEC home opener against Oklahoma. Game one will take place Thursday, March 19th at 7:00 p.m. The game will be streamed on ESPNU and available on the LSU Sports Radio Network.
Cooper Williams earned the win with one and one-third innings pitched, three strikeouts, zero earned runs, and zero walks. This is his first career win as a Tiger.
