A New Orleans man has been arrested in connection with arson and a domestic disturbance that happened in October 2025.
Quinton Rene Quinn, 35, of New Orleans, was arrested and charged with aggravated arson.
According to the State Fire Marshal, on Oct. 19, around 1:30 a.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance at an apartment in the 7700 block of Downman Road in New Orleans.
Police learned that Quinn had placed a towel in the oven and turned it on, and they contacted the SFM to investigate the fire.
It was determined that Quinn intentionally set the fire, and additional investigative work revealed the incident was connected to a domestic disturbance between Quinn and a woman.
Quinn was arrested on Saturday on a fugitive warrant unrelated to the SFM investigation.
