Two people in Harahan have been hospitalized after a fire early Sunday morning.
According to Harahan Fire Chief Todd St. Cyr, a home on Seventh Street was destroyed and two people were transported to a local hospital for trauma.
One person is believed to be in critical condition.
The fire is under investigation, and no cause or point of origin has been determined at this time.
Cyr said two explosions were heard as far as 10 blocks away, caused by oxygen bottles exploding, according to investigators.
Authorities tell WDSU arson investigators are headed to the scene.
