It’s time! Celebration in the Oaks has officially kicked off in City Park.
City Park is now illuminated with festive lights, offering visitors a magical holiday experience.
Visitors can enjoy the lights by either taking a two-mile driving tour or walking through the park.
Prices for Celebration in the Oaks start at $35 for walking tours and $40 per car for driving tours.
There are several new additions to this year’s celebration, including welcoming angels and peppermint posts.
“For someone who’s never been to Celebration in the Oaks, I would say there’s something for everyone. For the smallest toddler, we have rides that they’ve never ridden before. And for somebody who’s lived here their whole life, it’s a beautiful special moment to make memories. No matter what age you are,” said Keith Claverie, Marketing and Communications Manager for the City Park Conservancy.
The celebration is also a fundraiser for the park and runs through New Year’s Day.
This incredible light festival has enchanted park visitors since the 1980s, with the oaks and walkways filled with more than one million twinkling lights.
