It’s gearing up to be a busy weekend with so many events across the Metro. Events include Boo at the Zoo, Ghost in the Oaks, and Oktoberfest. There are several other events you can attend.
For instance, in Bayou St. John, you can celebrate gospel music at the Praise Fest on the Bayou. It’s a free festival featuring local and national Christian music artists, entertainers and speakers.
Then there’s the Andouille Festival over in St. John the Baptist Parish. Music headliners include Amada Shaw and New Orleans’ own Juvenile. Both these events also run through Sunday.
