The 17th-ranked Vanderbilt Commodores (6-1,2-1) upset the No. 10 LSU Tigers (5-2,2-2) 31-24 Saturday afternoon in Nashville.
The Commodores end a 10-game losing streak against the Tigers.
It’s Vanderbilt’s first win over LSU since 1990.
Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia was unstoppable in the win.
He finished with 160 yards passing and 1 touchdown, plus 86 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns.
LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier finished 19/28 for 225 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Receiver Zavion Thomas had 3 receptions for 78 yards and a 62-yard touchdown.
Tight end Trey’Dez Green had 5 catches for 74 yards and 1 touchdown.
LSU will host Texas A&M next Saturday at 6:30 p.m. inside Tiger Stadium.
