The home of a New Orleans Saints player was burglarized last month, while he played in a game at the Superdome.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested Donald Robinson, 28, of Stockbridge, GA, and Jadon Brown, 19, of Conyers, GA, in connection with the burglary.
Two additional men, Jahaun Suber, 20, and Devell Ortiz, 19, both of Conyers, GA have been identified as suspects in the case.
Police confirmed that Cam Jordan was the victim of a home break-in and theft, which follows a pattern of similar incidents involving star athletes across the country.
The burglary occurred on Sept. 14 in the old Metairie neighborhood where Jordan lives with his family.
Sources say two men broke into Jordan’s home and stole several high-dollar items before fleeing.
The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office was contacted immediately, and an arrest was made within 48 hours.
The suspects were apprehended in Georgia.
This area of Jefferson Parish is considered one of the safest in metro New Orleans, with numerous homes valued at over $2 million.
Sources also confirmed that no one was home during the burglary, as Jordan’s family was attending the game.
This incident is part of a series of high-profile break-ins targeting star athletes, including former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow, whose home was burglarized outside Cincinnati.
Anyone with information about the incident or the whereabouts of Jahaun Suber and Devell Ortiz is asked to call the JPSO Burglary Section at 504-364-5300 or contact Crimestoppers.
