HAMMOND — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested Cohen Gray, 21, of Folsom, in connection with two separate sex-related crimes.
Gray has been booked on one count of sexual battery and three counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13.
In October 2025, Gray was identified as a suspect in a sexual battery case involving a juvenile relative. A warrant was issued for his arrest, but law enforcement across multiple jurisdictions were unable to locate him.
This summer, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Division began investigating child sexual abuse materials being uploaded to a social media app from an IP address in the parish.
Detectives traced the activity to an address within the parish, and on Oct. 15, Gray was located at that address following a disturbance call. He was arrested on the outstanding sexual battery warrant.
Upon reviewing Gray’s devices obtained during the arrest, detectives confirmed he was responsible for the child sexual abuse material uploads under investigation.
Gray was rebooked this past week on the new charges.
A portion of this activity is part of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office’s partnership with Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Office and its Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
