Saints Head Coach Kellen Moore returned to Boise State Saturday for a special honor.
Boise State Athletics unveiled an 11-foot bronze statue honoring the former Bronco quarterback at halftime on Halloween night.
It celebrates one of the most accomplished players in program and college football history. The statue features Moore in a Boise State uniform and will stand outside Albertsons Stadium near Entry 1 Plaza in the northeast corner of the stadium and near the main entrance of the Bleymaier Football Center.
A four-time first-team All-American and Boise State’s first Heisman Trophy finalist, Moore helped define an era of Bronco football, leading the team to a remarkable 50-3 record as a starting quarterback — the most wins by any starting quarterback in college football history.
He was inducted into the Boise State Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018, and his impact on the game has continued beyond his playing days.
Moore went on to win the Super Bowl as offensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2024 season and now serves as head coach of the New Orleans Saints.
Moore’s statue is the second bronze statue around Albertsons Stadium, joining legendary Boise State coach Lyle Smith in front of the Allen Noble Hall of Fame.
