Gorgeous Gulf Coast Weather Continues
Festivals, fairs, football and parades will enjoy gorgeous weather across Southeast Louisiana and the Gulf Coast!
Expect sunshine, comfortable mornings and mild afternoons, with little to no rain through the end of October. Chilly, comfy mornings and warm days.
Rain may return around Halloween weekend or during the first week of November, but confidence remains low. Fire danger will stay elevated due to drought, low humidity and occasional breezy to gusty winds by this weekend. Avoid outdoor burning!
Subtropical Storm Josephine has formed off the Eastern U.S. Gale warnings are in effect offshore, with waves occasionally reaching 15 to 17 feet near the Mid-Atlantic coast. Windy conditions will continue through Friday, especially around Cape Cod and Long Island. Josephine should move away from land Friday into Saturday.
