The Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans has issued a boil-water advisory for parts of New Orleans East.
The impacted areas include:
- Lincoln Beach Boulevard (former Hayne) from Berg to Paris Road
- Paris Road from Lincoln Beach Boulevard to N I-10 Service Road
- N I-10 Service Road from Paris Road to Camberley Drive
- Camberley Drive from N I-10 Service Road to Morrison
- Berg from Morrison to Lincoln Beach Boulevard
The utility says water pressure in the area fell below 20 pounds per square inch due to a water main break.
The Sewerage and Water Board says crews are working to make the repair and get water pressure back to normal.
Remember to boil your water for a full minute before you use it.
