The New Orleans Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at a Taco Bell in Algiers.
Police say the robbery happened around 11:44 p.m. on Friday night in the 4300 block of General De Gaulle Drive.
The suspect attempted to place an order on foot at the drive-thru window but was told by employees that this was against company policy, which led to his agitation.
NOPD says the man climbed through the window with a gun and demanded food from the staff.
Despite his threats, the employees refused to comply with his demands.
The suspect exited through the window and left the area on foot.
This is an ongoing investigation.
