Although the strongest winds were in the panhandle of Florida when Hurricane Isaias came ashore at about 8:30 in Destin, Florida, the heaviest drains extended all the way throughout the southeast, with some locations more than 200 miles from the panhandle picking up over 7 inches of rain.
