One man decided to ride out Hurricane Isaias in a sailboat on Friday night.
The United Cajun Navy posted that Charles Mansfield stayed aboard his sailboat near Dauphin Island, Alabama, as Isaias made its way through the Gulf Coast.
Police say they reached out to the Mansfield, who understood the risks and chose to stay on his boat.
The SAR Team went to check on Mansfield around 2:30 a.m. and they say he was in good spirits and he is alive and well.
