The New Orleans Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened at a residence in the 7th Ward neighborhood.
The robbery happened just before 3 p.m. on Friday in the 1400 block of N. Roman Street.
According to police, several construction workers were working inside the residence when the suspect entered.
The suspect then pulled out a gun and put it to one of the victims’ heads and demanded his belongings.
Police say that all of the victims complied, and the suspect fled the location in an unknown white sedan down N. Roman Street, then in an unknown direction.
This is an ongoing investigation.
