The United Way of Southeast Louisiana held its Alexis de Tocqueville Gala on Thursday night.
The gala celebrated community leaders and their contributions to the region.
The gala, themed “Power the Next Chapter,” featured a performance by the KIPP Morial Middle School band.
Students from the band spoke at the event, sharing their goals and aspirations to become successful adults.
Entergy CEO Drew Marsh and his wife were honored for their service in helping to create resources and opportunities for families across Southeast Louisiana.
