Take Paws says the Stray Café on Banks Street is urgently seeking foster homes.
18 dogs are in need of foster homes after rats damaged the building’s plumbing, leaving the animals without running water.
Repairs to the plumbing are expected to take about a month, and the dogs need temporary places to stay until new kennels are ready.
A kennel and food will be provided to those who volunteer to foster the dogs.
