The young boy who was injured in the Houma stabbing spree has returned home from the hospital.
The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office and Houma Police Department escorted the boy home from the hospital.
“This young man and his family have endured unimaginable loss,” said Sheriff Soignet. “Today, we stand beside them as he comes home, and we will continue to stand beside them in the days ahead. To this young survivor: you are not alone. Your community is with you; we are with you!”
Neighbors say they called 911 after the young boy ran to their house asking for help after being stabbed by Kaegan Jude Solet.
Solet is being charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder.
This is an ongoing investigation.
