The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested a delivery driver accused of sending a customer an explicit photo after dropping off a grocery order.
According to the sheriff’s office, James Chenoweth, 32, of Franklinton, was arrested after he sent an unsolicited sexually explicit photograph in a text message to a St. Tammany woman after delivering her grocery order Friday night.
The woman called the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office after receiving the photo.
Chenoweth, who works for a third-party delivery company, was found by STPSO deputies Saturday and taken into custody.
He had already attempted to delete the photo from his phone, according to the sheriff’s office.
He was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on charges of obstruction of justice, obscenity (unsolicited sexually explicit text message) and improper telephone communication.
