The Rummel Raiders (3-0) continued their dominance over the Shaw Eagles (2-1).
Rummel took down Shaw 24-7 Friday night at Joe Zimmerman Field in Marrero.
The Raiders truly controlled this game from the opening kickoff.
They scored all three of their touchdowns on the ground.
Running back Coryan Hawkins started the scoring in the second quarter with a three-yard touchdown run to make it a 7-0 game.
The Raiders led 10-0 at halftime.
Quarterback Colton Nussmeier would add to the lead on an 11-yard touchdown run to push the lead to 17-0.
The finally Eagles get on the board in the fourth quarter on a one-yard touchdown run by quarterback Allen Shaw to cut the deficit to 17-7.
Rummel iced the game on a six-yard touchdown run by by running back John Schnabel.
Next week Rummel will host Chalmette, while Shaw will welcome in E.D. White.
