Dawn Richard and Loyola University New Orleans sat down with WDSU anchor Aubry Killion for an exclusive interview.
Richard serves as an adjunct professor at Loyola, bringing her extensive industry knowledge and experience to students.
The New Orleans native began her career locally before rising to stardom as a singer, songwriter and performer.
“To be able to take a young girl from the Ninth Ward with a dream to be a pop star, and then come back and then be a professor at Loyola, shows the acceptance of New Orleans,” Richard said.
