The Tulane Green Wave beat the South Alabama Jaguars 28-24 Saturday night in Yulman Stadium.
Quarterback Kadin Semonza threw a 14-yard touchdown to wide receiver Destyn Hil with 1:17 left in the game.
Semonza finished the game 14/21 for 212 yards and 1 touchdown.
The star of the game for Tulane was running back Jaylin Lucas. who had 11 carries for 214 yards and 1 touchdown.
Lucas is the first Green Wave to rush for 200 yards since Tyjae Spears did it in the Cotton Bowl against USC.
It was the first time a Tulane player rushed for 200 yards in Yulman Stadium.
Tulane travels to Kansas St. next Saturday.
