A new daily record rainfall was set today at the New Orleans Armstrong International airport in Kenner.
The record set today was 3.86in breaking the old record of 3.22in set back in 1960.
Radar estimates show 1-3in+ of rain fell across much of the New Orleans Metro and Bayou.
The Northshore saw 2-4in+ of rain that fell.
Multiple Flash Flood Warnings were also in effect today over parts of southeast Louisiana and Mississippi.
