Heads up! Thursday and Friday are WDSU First Warning Weather Impact Days with localized heavy rain possible.
Increasing rain chances incoming over the next few days as a weak tropical wave moves across the northern Gulf.
Not expecting any funny business with this one at this time, but we’ll keep an eye on it. Tropical development is not expected at this time.
The added tropical moisture will keep daily rain chances in the forecast through late week, potentially lingering through the Labor Day weekend.
Heavy downpours will be possible, mainly during the afternoon hours. Localized nuisance street flooding will be possible with any slow moving storms, but that risk should be limited/isolated. The good news? Daily storm chances will keep highs in the lower 90s.
