Edouard has weakened to a tropical depression with maximum sustained winds of 35 mph, but the system continues to drench southeast Texas.
At its peak, Tropical Storm Edouard left nearly 80,000 customers without power across Texas, with Jefferson, Orange and Hardin counties reporting the highest concentrations of outages.
As of 10PM, roughly 65,000 customers remain without power.
Inland flooding will remain a concern tonight along the system’s path. Residents in flood-prone areas should monitor local alerts and avoid driving on flooded roads.
