The New Orleans Police Department is investigating after a body was found in New Orleans East.
According to the NOPD, on Friday around 1:41 p.m., a person driving near Jourdan Road and Almonaster Avenue called police to report a man lying near the intersection.
When NOPD and EMS arrived on the scene, the man was declared dead. It is unclear the cause of the person’s death.
No other information was provided.
