Ursuline Academy has issued a statement following a viral social media post from a parent regarding communication problems involving the school’s Early Childhood building.
The post, which has garnered a large response on social media, alleged the school failed to communicate properly with the parent on a number of issues, including food, nap schedules, and conflicting guidance from teachers and administration.
The parent alleged conflicting accounts of an injury the child reportedly sustained on the playground.
The parent who made the post pulled the child from the program and alleges the school is requiring half tuition payments for withdrawing after starting the year.
WDSU reached out to Ursuline Academy and received the following response:
“The Academy is aware of the situation and is addressing it.”
