Heads up! Wednesday is a WDSU First Warning Weather Impact Day. A Heat Advisory is in effect Wednesday for heat index values up 112 possible.
High temperatures will be in the low to mid 90s except mid to upper 90s on the Northshore and south Mississippi.
Temperatures will feel like 104-110+ during the afternoon hours.
We continue to remain downstream of the upper level ridge of high pressure over the southwestern U.S. which will help keep temperatures above average and hot.
Besides the heat, a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible nearly each day with high temperatures in the mid 90s and heat index values in the triple digits.
