An insane aerial view shows an active wildfire in Jackson County, Mississippi.
The Mississippi Forestry Commission wildland firefighters are working to contain the fire.
At this moment, MFC says the 1,000-acre fire is 35% contained.
Lawrence, Walthall, Copiah, Franklin, Simpson, and Jefferson Davis counties are under active burn bans.
All open outdoor burning is strictly prohibited for residents living in any of these counties.
