The New Orleans Police Department’s Fifth District, working with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the New Orleans Fire Department, arrested Allen Harris on August 8 in connection with two attempted murder cases.
Harris, was taken into custody in the 2400 block of Pauger Street.
Authorities said Harris was booked in connection with two incidents. The first happened on August 3, 2026, in the 1900 block of North Roman Street and the second took place on August 8, 2026, in the 1600 block of Elysian Fields Avenue.
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives from the NOPD Fifth District, ATF, and NOFD work to determine whether additional individuals were involved in these incidents.
Authorities said additional information will be released as it becomes available and appropriate to the investigation.
