The New Orleans Saints drafted three wide receivers in the 2026 NFL Draft and each guy is making plays in training camp.
However, sixth-round selection Barion Brown is turning the most heads this camp so far.
The former LSU Tiger continues to make big play after big play through the first seven practices.
During Thursday’s practice, Brown caught a 46-yard touchdown pass.
The score came on the final play of practice when backup quarterback Spencer Rattler rolled to his left and fired a perfect pass into the arms of Brown in the endzone.
“Anytime the ball is in the air, I’m looking to go get that thing,” Brown said.
It wasn’t the first time the speedster made a big play.
Brown took a short pass from Rattler along the sideline and turned it into a 40-yard gain Wednesday morning.
Monday morning, the former Tiger caught a deep pass from Tyler Shough during one-on-one drills.
Later in that same practice, Brown hauled in another long pass from Rattler.
“It’s always room for improvement, I’m just going out there each and every day looking to get better and taking the coaching points that they give me and look to implement it into my game.”
Brown said he leans into young veteran receiver Chris Olave for advice and tips when it comes to playing the receiver position in the NFL.
