The Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo has officially opened its gates, bringing back a nearly century-old tradition of fishing, competition, and celebration.
For almost 100 years, the event has united fishing enthusiasts and families for a weekend of fun and camaraderie.
The winner of the tournament will receive a $10,000 prize.
The festival continues through Saturday at the Tarpon Rodeo Pavilion.
