A weakening frontal boundary will move into the northern Gulf and could potentially spawn tropical development this weekend or early next week.
At this time, it’s way too early to tell who will get impacted or if it even develops. At the very least, rain chances could increase over parts of the northern and eastern Gulf coast next week from this possible system.
Officially, The National Hurricane Center does not have any chance of tropical development over the next 7 days. However, this could change if the computer models continue to suggest that development may occur.
Stay with the WDSU First Warning Weather Team for the latest.
