Two inmates at the Orleans Justice Center have been charged in connection with a fire at the jail last month.
Derrick Clayton, 24, and Jarick S. Bourgeois Jr., 19, were booked on 73 counts of aggravated arson.
The fire happened on June 9, after authorities say a pile of combustible materials, including mattresses, jail-issued jumpsuits, blankets, and Styrofoam plates were set on fire.
One person was injured by the fire and was transported by emergency medical personnel to a hospital.
While they were initially booked on 73 charges, the judge only found probable cause for one of the charges.
Their bond was set at $75,000 each.
