Authorities in St. Bernard Parish are searching for a Metairie doctor wanted on sexual battery charges, Sheriff James Pohlmann reported.
David Beary, 71, is wanted on four counts of sexual battery, according to the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office. Investigators have obtained a warrant for his arrest.
He is a gastroenterologist who had medical privileges at St. Bernard Parish Hospital at the time of the alleged incidents.
The Sheriff’s Office has not released more details about the allegations.
Pohlmann reported the investigation is ongoing.
