The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office said a vehicle crash forced the full closure of a stretch of Louisiana Highway 48 in St. Rose.
The road is now open.
Authorities said LA-48 was shut down between Oak Manor and Almedia Road.
Eastbound traffic was being diverted to Almedia Road, while westbound drivers were told to use Riverbend Drive, the sheriff’s office said in an update.
