New Orleans police say a man was stabbed in the head and hand on Burgundy Street in the New Orleans French Quarter.
The incident was reported along the 400 block of Burgundy Street Friday night.
Police said an unknown male suspect was involved in a verbal confrontation with the victim before the suspect allegedly produced a sharp object and cut the victim on the head and hand.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in a private vehicle for treatment.
