Today is a WDSU First Warning Weather Impact Day due another day of heavy rain that could lead to street flooding. While there is no Flood Watch in effect there is a chance that flash flooding could occur across the area today.
Bands of heavy rain are expected over the next several hours of the morning into the the later parts of the afternoon.
There is already a Flood Advisory in place for Pearl River county until 12:15 p.m. as more rounds of heavy rain on top of the inches we’ve already seen over the past couple of days will lead to more issues.
Rain should subside by the time we reach the evening with only a few spotty showers and storms leftover.
More rain is expected over the next several days, except we’ll be entering more of a typical summertime pattern with storms popping up, especially in the afternoon hours.
