The Flock camera helped Kenner Police arrest a suspect whose car was wanted in connection with an armed robbery investigation in Alabama.
Kenner police say on May 16, they received an alert on Williams Boulevard regarding a car entered by law enforcement in Alabama.
Officers went to the area and located the car in the parking lot of a business in the 3300 block of Williams Boulevard.
Officers then observed Anthony Obdulio Tabora-Casco and another subject get into the car before a traffic stop was conducted shortly after.
During the investigation, KPD learned that Tabora-Casco has never been issued a valid driver’s license. The car was also found to be uninsured and was subsequently towed in accordance with state law.
Tabora-Casco was arrested for these violations.
Kenner police say during an inventory of the car, officers located a black BB gun designed to resemble a real gun, along with a face covering.
The information gathered during the stop was forwarded to the Cordova Police Department in Alabama as part of the ongoing investigation.
