The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a woman who could be in distress after walking away from a rescue and recovery center.
According to the sheriff’s office, numerous community tips have placed Nicole Middleton in the Airport Road area of Hammond.
According to the sheriff’s office, with upcoming severe weather possible, community members are asked to call the sheriff’s office quickly if Middleton is seen.
On May 12, Middleton left the LynHaven Retreat on Old Covington Highway.
She was receiving treatment for a mental illness, and is described as having brown eyes, brown hair and was wearing a grey shirt and blue jeans with sandals.
