The New Orleans Police Department has detained a man following a SWAT roll in the Desire area.
The incident was reported in the 3800 block of Ursula Spencer Way on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, a suspect wanted in connection with multiple armed robberies was reported to be at the home.
When officers arrived, a 19-year-old answered the door and later barricaded himself in the house.
Police say after failed negotiations, the SWAT team entered the home and detained the teen.
It is unclear if the teen is facing any charges at this time.
