The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a car crash, stemming from an apparent car theft in Central City.
Police say two teenagers stole a car on Felicity Street, near Annunciation Street in the Lower Garden District. Police say those teen then crashed with another car in Central City, near Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd and Robert C. Blakes, just one block off St. Charles Avenue.
It is unclear what led up to the crash.
The NOPD says one of the teenagers, a 15-year-old boy, was found with a gunshot wound in the leg and taken to the hospital. It is unclear how he was hurt.
The identity, age, and location of the second teen suspect is unclear.
