A Georgia man was killed Friday evening after he was involved in a two-car crash in Covington.
The crash happened shortly after 3 p.m. on U.S. Highway 190 east of LA Highway 1077 in St. Tammany.
According to the Louisiana State Police, Muhammad Connor, 26, of Snellville, Georgia, was riding a dirt bike east on the shoulder of U.S. Highway 190.
At the same time, a Toyota Tacoma was traveling east on U.S. Highway 190 and was attempting to turn right into a private driveway.
LSP says the dirt bike struck the right side of the car as it entered the driveway.
Connor sustained deadly injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver of the Toyota was uninjured.
This is an ongoing investigation.
