The Original Big Seven Social Aid and Pleasure Club held its 30th annual Mother’s Day second line parade today, bringing together marchers, music, and the community in New Orleans’ Seventh Ward.
The traditional parade rolled through several neighborhoods in the Seventh Ward, starting and ending on Elysian Fields.
Marchers, music, and the community came together to celebrate Mother’s Day and continue one of the city’s longstanding cultural traditions.
