It was a wet and soggy day Saturday with flood alerts including flood advisories and flash flood warnings.
Doppler radar estimates show anywhere between 1-4in of rain have fallen with locally higher totals from Friday evening through Saturday evening.
What’s in store for the rest of the evening and tonight?
More showers are possible through this evening before ending by tonight with just mostly cloudy skies and only a slight chance of a shower possible with temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s.
Looking ahead to Sunday
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible Sunday afternoon.
Will there be any severe weather?
A level 1 marginal risk of severe weather is in effect for all of southeast Louisiana and south Mississippi on Sunday, as some of the storms could turn strong to severe.
The main risk will be damaging winds but heavy rain is also possible.
Monday’s forecast
Showers and storms will again be possible on Monday ahead of another cold front coming in.
