One person has been arrested, and another is sought in connection with a shooting that happened Saturday afternoon in the Pines Village area.
Police arrested Rashad Bakewell, 19, in connection with the shooting.
According to NOPD, Bakewell and another woman approached the car in the 7200 block of Downman Road.
The woman pepper sprayed the people in the car before Bakewell began shooting at the car, according to New Orleans police.
The victim sustained a graze wound to her head and was taken to a local hospital.
Bakewell was later arrested and the woman remains at large.
This is an ongoing investigation.
