St. Tammany Fire Protection District #1 responded to a fire off Richard Avenue in Slidell.
Fire crews say, when they arrived at the residence flames were showing from the home.
All occupants were safely evacuated out of the structure and firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire, but there was significance damage to the residence.
The fire is under investigation.
