St. Charles and Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s deputies helped render aid to an unresponsive person who was not breathing at Louis Armstrong International Airport on Thursday.
According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, Corporal Christopher Lee located the person and began administering life-saving medical care.
Lee and the JPSO deputy provided continuous life-saving aid until medical services arrived and continued.
St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office says Lee and the JPSO deputy escorted emergency services to a local hospital, where the patient was transferred to the ER and left in stable condition.
It was confirmed by EMS and the ER physician that the patient had been experiencing a cardiac incident.
