There are 11 new millionaires in Louisiana after Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing. Six players won $1 million and five people won $2 million.
Two of those winners were in southeast Louisiana and they both won $1 million. The tickets were sold at the G-Zone in Marrero and at the Magnolia Discount in Gretna.
Louisiana Lottery leaders say the state made history with the drawing as 11 Louisiana players became millionaires in a single drawing.
The winning numbers for the April 29 drawing were 03-19-35-51-67, and the red Powerball number was 15.
